“Beware the networked screen”, indeed! The familiar vertical shape of the mobile phone undergoes many sinister, metamorphic transformations in this busy fantasia of digital animation. Underneath a wild sound collage of Internet screen grabs, Sarah Boo swiftly conjures a William Burroughs-like itinerary: ghastly, malformed creatures ingest we poor humans who have become mere packets of data, and all we can look forward to is final absorption into the black box of cold, self-sufficient technology.
