Happy Ending uses entrancing watercolour animation to give shape to the words of an anonymous Korean sex worker. Both sensual and haunting, it is a poetic exploration of her thoughts on pleasure, and anguish about being used for the pleasure of others. The film shows us the beauty and brutality of sex, while insisting we should listen to women who are too often ignored.
