From the pockets of poet Ojārs Vācietis drop, tumble and leap the protagonists of these lyrical anecdotes, including a soulful horse with a heroic streak, a robustly pragmatic mother pig and her numerous sweet yet naughty offspring, a nasty circus impresario, and a soap-phobic fly. As in The Golden Sieve, the songs were composed by the legendary Imants Kalniņš.
