Van der Stock is fascinated by the abandoned, the rejected and the dysfunctional. Stone is a radical ‘found-footage’ remake of Diabolique (1996), a remake of the French suspense thriller Les diaboliques (1955). He puts the spotlight back on Sharon Stone, a forgotten film goddess, and perhaps the last real film diva?
