The Kiss (Let's Play Dynasty)

This video ironically shows the connections between excessively melodramatic standards of TV and the subjects of art movies. The Kiss is a 'vintage remake' of the most famous Hollywood-style serial of the 1980s: Dynasty. Helmut Berger acted in some episodes of the original series. Instead of his usual role as Peter DeVilbis, a dissolute and self-destructive aristocrat, he now assumes the part of Alexis Carrington, originally played by Joan Collins.
