Reinterpreting a broadcast stream by abstraction and time lapse, this installation investigates the true nature of television with its numerous channels, its ubiquity and its perpetual flow. Cinematic cuts are transformed into clear vertical sections. Zooms are visualized as curves. Commercials and music videos are seen as vibrant vertical patterns and hectic splashes of colour, while news programmes are calming studies of horizontal smears.
