Erik van Lieshout has created an amorphic, reflecting house, inside of which a video is screened, made during an artist-in-residence stay in a wood near an institute for the mentally handicapped. Throughout the house, we hear how the artist, with a catch in his voice, explains passionately to his brother Bart why he hasn’t got a friend. Don’t hug the trees so much!
