Object of Riddle
In a crescendo of visual hints and sonic traces, Objet d’énigme plays with thriller tropes to depict homes as a dense space in which the memory of murder can be surmised in every frame. Using lo-fi scans of domestic spaces, Objet d’enigme lies bare a pattern in which the female body is the ever-returning protagonist. Thrilling and mysterious, the work is a powerful take on crime scenes transcending times and geographies.
