Once upon a time, in a rigidly ruled kingdom bordered with enchanted wilderness, a sharp-witted girl named Jasna battles the tyrant Volk, with some unexpected help from Eagle, the forest guardian. In this amusing eco-feminist rap fairytale, that combines live-action scenes shot on 16mm with 2D and 3D animation, Marie Lukáčová draws on contemporary ecological and feminist perspectives, emphasising interpersonal acceptance and understanding. Czech folk surrealism at its best!
