On a black or coloured background, graphically printed words appear on screen – we follow the words in time, taking the bait of constructing partial sentences and meanings. Meanings which are then endlessly recombined and remade, slyly and wittily. Here, Asselberghs bridges political, avant-garde cinema and the age of the ubiquitous telephone text message.
