Made by a collective as part of a workshop. Yet the result is very personal. The commission was to visualise something of the urbanisation of Jakarta. Where better than at Ronin’s mobile vegetable stall? Impression of a small urban entrepreneur who offers a meeting place for squabbling and bartering housewives. Really a kind of eavesdrop film.
