This film is ingeniously simple, with a striking test of telephonic tenacity. It is made up of stills, a continuous series of photos of advertisements pinned up all over Jakarta. On the soundtrack, a persistent telephone conversation. A man acts as if he wants to hire a ‘housemaid’ for day and night through a dating agency. Or maybe even two. His persistent questioning exposes a painful social situation.
