How do I stay up to date on festival news?
Industry professionals can stay up to date by subscribing to our Tiger Alert Pro, IFFR’s newsletter for international guests.
If you are a journalist and want to receive press releases, send an e-mail to [email protected] to receive press releases in future.

I would like to support the festival. Is that possible?
Alongside income generated by ticket sales, IFFR is dependent on additional funding and therefore cooperates with various partners, funds and individuals, the main sources that help realise an annual festival. You too can support IFFR, both as an organisation and as an individual. For example, you may enter into a partnership or become a Tiger Member or a Pioneer.

Is there no printed version of the Dutch Programme Guide with the Volkskrant this year?
In 2025 the printed version of the Dutch Programme Guide will not be distributed by the Volkskrant anymore, like in 2024. The Programme Guide can be downloaded from IFFR.com and a printed version will be spread across the Netherlands by our couriers in cinemas, theaters and cultural institutions in Rotterdam, Amsterdam, The Hague, Utrecht and Eindhoven.

What is IFFR’s Code of Conduct?
At International Film Festival Rotterdam, we represent the strength and impact of independent film, filmmakers and film-related art. In our work together, we each contribute to a culture that is built on foundations of mutual respect and dignity. For IFFR respect means welcoming and appreciating everyone around us — from our colleagues to our business partners to our guests — as well as creating an environment where everyone has the freedom to express him or herself, without fear of harassment, intimidation, discrimination, sexism, or other disrespectful behaviour. We reserve the right to revoke, without notice or refund, credentials or access to festival events and venues for those who engage in such conduct. If you have been involved of have witnessed something that violates this code we ask that you contact us as [email protected]. When will the festival take place?
IFFR 2025 will take place from 30 January to 9 February 2025.

When will the IFFR Volkskrantdag take place?
The IFFR Volkskrantdag takes place on the last day of the festival, on Sunday February 9, 2025.

When will the programme for the coming edition be announced?
The IFFR 2025 Press Conference will take place half December, when we will announce full details of our competitions titles and more highlights from across the programme. Regular programme announcements are made on IFFR.com, through our social media and via our newsletters.

When will the ticket sales start?
The ticket sales for IFFR 2025 starts half January. Tickets sales for VPRO and Volkskrant days and other festivalspecials start in november/december. Final dates will be announced later this year.

Where can I find the printed Programme Guide of the festival?
The English version of the Programme Guide can be picked up at all festival locations during the festival and can be downloaded from IFFR.com from half January onwards.

Where will the festival be held?
FFR 2025 will be at different locations in Rotterdam, full information will follow in the begin of January 2025.

Will all films be subtitled?
Not all English-language films will have subtitles. You can find this information on the filmpage of the film if this is not the case.

Will the VPRO Preview- and Reviewdagen take place this year?
There will be a VPRO Preview- and Reviewdag during IFFR 2025.

Will there be any extra last-minute tickets available on sold out screenings?
If a film is sold out, but you would really like to see it. Check our website last-minute, sometimes extra tickets become available because of cancelled screenings from badgeholders.
