In this meditative documentary shot on the island of Gozo (Malta), Franziska von Stenglin avoids the tourist cliché and follows the daily routine of a disillusioned, sea-worn fisherman, who, perched atop 50-metre high cliffs, practices his ancient method. A contemplation on the cost of the relentless march of progress, and the irreparable loss felt by the delicately balanced life beneath the waves.
