The filmmaker paints the lively greenery around the mountain Colchiqui in the Argentinian Sierras de Córdoba with rays of sunlight. The place has a painful history as the indigenous inhabitants, the Henia/Kamiare, decided to escape Spanish slavery by committing mass suicide. This history manifests itself in Ceniza verde as an apparition.
