Tides started as a self-portrait and evolved into a universal portrait of humanity in eight parts. The cycle works like a carousel for different emotions and mental states: desire, passion, liberation, vigour, surrender, consciousness, transformation and reflection. Each of the parts has its own specific colour spectrum and rhythm, that combine with the specially composed music by the sound artist Pierre Bastien and the voice artist Andrea Emonds.
