Regarding the Pain of Susan Sontag (Notes on Camp)
Direct naar zijbalk
The film borrows its title from two texts by Susan Sontag: her last book, Regarding the Pain of Others, a reflection on empathy and the photographic likeness as a document, and Notes on Camp, her influential essay dating from 50 years ago. In her work, Sontag regularly investigated the influence of photographic representation on all kinds of social subjects. Reinke goes looking for the application.
