Celebration of recently produced 16mm films by a mix of artists with a great sense of wonder and joy. You will delight in Xander Marro and Joe Darry’s psychedelic animations, enjoy Jonathan Swartz’s tender and nostalgic shorts. Ensuite, a live narrated performance by the king of the magic lantern, Ben Russell and his Red and Blue Gods! Meet the sexy slapstick Shannon Plumb with her new episodes and see a love ballad with Jason Livingston and Moira Tierney. Finally there’s an orgy of pasta in Marie Losier’s latest film. 16mm is alive and well!

    Idiosyncratic impression of fall in New England, recorded before he was to die.

    Small-scale silent comedy with the filmmaker herself in the leading role as a striptease artist and mother to be.

  • Harmony

    Fantastic variation on creation in which animals are given consciousness and feelings of guilt by their maker.

  • Shalmont Field

    Short and apparent classic. The female film maker plays both the good and the bad cowboy for the final shoot out.

  • The Ontological Cowboy

    A sign by the motorway to Kiev causes quite a commotion. A fictional film based on a dramatic event.
