An avant-garde programme in the classic sense of the word. The unique films really will be a once-only experience this time thanks to the double projection and the changes introduced on the spot. The music also makes improvisations and flexibility possible. Only the short films by Brehm have a fixed soundtrack, but in their spirit, they fit in very well with this programme, that shows why 16mm is still such a favoured material among experimental film makers.
