A phone call could make all the difference, but whether it comes remains the question. A man gazes motionless into a stationary and continually filming camera. In masterful black & white, the background lights up; it seems to reveal the thoughts and feelings of the man in a theatre form. Saying farewell to a love is difficult, but here, mourning acquires a very elegant form. (GjZ)
