Chao-chainoi: The Incompleted Version
A strange, cheerful and absurd animated film. The strange man Chanoi jumps in his loincloth through a weird and magical landscape looking for Mr No-R. Commonsense does not play a role in this world, while a sense of humour most certainly does. Max Ernst and Monty Python are no more important in this world than Nintendo’s Super Mario. A catchy mix of classic collage and contemporary cut-and-paste. (GjZ)
