Omen

Peter Rose: 'Stanzas of invocation, calligraphic illumination, flames of shadows. A summons to the underworld, interiority and an unknown territory of feeling. I wanted these tableaux to be of different registers... I think of the whole thing as akin to a grand musical gesture - eleven movements, of differing tonalities, rhythms, and references, and which should not be interpreted along simple symbolic lines.'
