IFFR welcomes two new Supervisory Board members

Ahead of the 56th edition of IFFR, we are excited to welcome Ivo Frielink and Ali Bouchrit as new members of our Supervisory Board.

Ivo Frielink and Ali Bouchrit have recently joined IFFR’s Supervisory Board, where they will oversee and advise the Board of Directors and the organisation as a whole. Together, they bring extensive expertise in finance and organisational development, further strengthening the Supervisory Board alongside existing members Korrie Louwes (Chair), Pieter Guldemond, Nicky Koopman, Sacha Polak and Joram Willink. In addition, Ivo will chair the Audit and Finance Sub Committee.

His broad management and marketing expertise, many years of experience as a banker and extensive national network make him a highly valuable addition to the Supervisory Board. With the appointment of our new Supervisory Board members, we also bid farewell to Anoesjka Imambaks, who has served on the Supervisory Board and its Audit Committee since 2018.

Ivo Frielink is Global Head of Sales & Marketing and a member of the Executive Committee at Robeco, an international asset manager. He brings extensive experience in governance, strategy and financial oversight within complex, international organisations. Alongside his executive role, he has been active in supervisory positions, with a strong focus on strengthening resilience and long-term value creation. With his roots in Rotterdam he is committed to supporting the continued development of IFFR.

Ali Bouchrit brings extensive experience in governance, supervision and entrepreneurship. He is an entrepreneur and partner at BouchritDenOuden & Partners, where he advises organisations on governance, strategy and organisational development.

Before founding his own business, Ali held a number of senior leadership positions at ING and ABN AMRO. Alongside his entrepreneurial activities, he serves in a range of supervisory and board roles across both the corporate and cultural sectors.

Drawing on his broad governance expertise, experience in financial and business services, affinity with the media sector, and extensive professional network, Ali has a strong ability to connect organisations and leaders while approaching strategic challenges from multiple perspectives.
