Call for IFFR Ambassadors
Get a unique look behind the scenes of one of the world’s largest audience- and industry-driven film festivals as an IFFR ambassador.
Are you someone with a wide social network and a strong online following? Would you like to use IFFR and festival material for your online content? We’re looking to give unique behind-the-scenes access to IFFR Ambassadors. Apply now!

As an ambassador, you’ll attend IFFR films and events and use these to inspire your personal social media content (e.g. a podcasts, videos, blogs, interviews). You’ll post about IFFR on your personal social media channels before, during, and after the festival.

Who are we looking for?
We would like our ambassadors to have a minimum of 2000 followers on social media.
IFFR strongly believes in creating and contributing to a diverse environment that includes a wide range of perspectives and experiences. To ensure inclusivity, our priority goes out to finding someone who:
- Identifies as from an ethnically diverse and/or minority community, and/or a person of colour; and/or
- Identifies as LGBTQIA+; and/or
- Identifies as a woman, a non-binary/gender diverse person; and/or
- Has a disability

What will you do?
- Create content: A minimum of two posts before, five posts during and one post after IFFR 2026 about your festival experience across your social media channels
- Announce your ambassadorship:
- Send one official email to your network introducing yourself as an IFFR 2026 Ambassador and/or
- Create a 1-minute Instagram (or TikTok/YouTube/Facebook/LinkedIn) video announcing your ambassadorship to share on social media.
- Use the official festival tag (@iffr) in all relevant posts.

We ask you to submit
- Motivation video: In no more than 2 minutes, tell us who you are, why you’d like to be an IFFR Ambassador, and what unique perspective you bring. Feel free to get creative: it can be filmed on your phone, in vlog style, or as a more polished piece. We’re looking for your personality, passion, and ideas for how you’d cover the festival.
- Link to your social media channels.
- [Optional] Selection of your portfolio/work covering film, culture or anything that you consider relevant (e.g. three reviews, a link to a podcast, or a vlog).
