Jaap Pieters
Jaap PIETERS (1955, Netherlands) also known as the ‘eye of Amsterdam’ is a Super-8 filmmaker and photographer. He films various small events and portraits, often from his upstairs flat, to capture simple everyday existence. In 2015, IFFR devoted a Short Special to the filmmaker. His short film Haar harden (2023) was selected for IFFR 2023.
