Sylvia Hoeks

Sylvia HOEKS (1983, Netherlands) is an actress and former model working across European and international cinema. She began her career in Dutch film and television before gaining wider recognition for her performances in both arthouse and large-scale productions. Hoeks received the Golden Calf for Best Supporting Actress for Duska (2007), marking her breakthrough in the Netherlands. She later became known internationally for her roles in films such as Blade Runner 2049 (2017) and The Girl in the Spider’s Web (2018). Magpie (2026) is her debut short as a filmmaker.
