A woman goes on a remote camping trip with her pregnant friend. As the two friends go swimming, hiking and sit around the campfire and catch up, it becomes clear that something is haunting her and unspoken emotions have been hovering over their friendship. And perhaps she made some other plans for this trip than her friend is expecting. Magpie is a deeply personal, heartfelt film, marking Sylvia Hoeks’ directorial debut.
