Simon Jaquemet
Simon JAQUEMET (1978, Switzerland) studied film directing in Zurich after a short career as a professional snowboarder. His multi-awarded debut, Chrieg/War, premiered at San Sebastián New Directors 2014, followed by screenings in major festivals including Locarno, KVIFF and Berlinale. Der Unschuldige/The Innocent was shown at TIFF Platform 2018 and in Official Selection at San Sebastián, gathering accolades and touring over 40 festivals, including IFFR 2019. His newest film, Electric Child (2024), premiered at the 77th Locarno Film Festival.
