Naween Noppakun
With a background in music and sound design, audiovisual-artisan Naween NOPPAKUN (1983, Thailand) switched his approach to filmmaking. His first two short films When Her Light is Extinguished (2012) and We Love Me (2017) traverse spatiotemporal energies. They have been screened at film festivals worldwide and won various international awards. Crazy Lotus (2024), selected for IFFR 2024, was chosen for project development in the Berlinale Short Form Station 2020 and received the Momo Distribution Grant 2023 for upcoming Southeast Asian filmmakers.
