Dika Ofoma

Dika OFOMA (Nigeria) is a writer, culture journalist and filmmaker. His short films have been screened at the Kurzfilmtage International Film Festival, S16 Film Festival, Lagos Biennial, Protocinema and IFFR 2025. His culture writing covers African cinema, with a special focus on Nollywood, Nigeria’s film industry. His reviews and film articles have been published in magazines and journals such as Dazed, Invisible Women, African Arguments and Africa is a Country. Ofoma is passionate about telling nuanced, human stories about Nigerian life and culture. His debut feature-length project Kachifowas was selected for the 2025 Locarno Open Doors, where it took home three awards, including the Open Doors Grant award, Arte Kino award and the SØRfond award.
