Speech for a Melting Statue

In June 2020, as thousands march against institutional racism and police brutality in Brussels, the statue of King Leopold II becomes the focal point. Inspired by the toppling of the same statue in Kinshasa, Collectif Faire-Part’s Speech for a Melting Statue follows poet Marie Paule Mugeni as she delivers a speech anticipating its eventual removal from the city.
