Marshall Allen, 99, Astronaut
Marshall Allen, now 100 years old, is a living legend. Ari Benjamin Meyers visits him at his home and films him playing the saxophone. But four walls can’t contain Allen’s vision of music, and soon we are transported to the only place that has room enough for his genius: the Universe. With this unconditional homage, Meyers offers us a privileged encounter with the work of a musician whose art seems born from the need to reach beyond our world.
