Tiger Talks Day will consist of captivating conversations on a range of topics featuring prominent voices in international filmmaking and beyond, exploring themes such as feminism, colonialism, and cinema’s socio-political role. Highlights include Saaed Nouri’s presentation of rare pre-revolutionary Iranian film excerpts; Katja Raganelli’s celebration of female filmmakers; and Sergii Masloboishchykov’s exploration of Ukraine’s cultural and political landscape. Esteemed filmmaker Costa-Gavras and distinguished curator Sungji Oh will discuss preserving cinematic heritage, while multidisciplinary artist Omar Rodríguez-López shares the inspirations behind his genre defying work.
