Is My Living in Vain
A poetic observational documentary exploring the Black church as a space of emancipatory self-organising, community building and deep healing within marginalised communities in West Philadelphia and South East London. The film explores the implicit politics of apolitical spaces where music and faith rally people to congregate around shared histories of oppression.
