Antonio Skármeta’s first directorial effort is about himself as an exile in Berlin living among exiles from other countries. At one point, we hear an excerpt from Pablo Neruda’s poem Exilio: El destierro es redondo: / un círculo, un anillo: / le dan vuelta tus pies, cruzas la tierra, / no es tu tierra.
