Distant Symphony AV is a project by classically trained musician, composer and producer Midori Hirano (who explores experimental electronic music under the moniker MimiCof), created on the EMS SYNTHI 100 Synthesizer and exploring the machine’s versatility and unique sound through pulsating, transforming and mesmerising atmospheres and textures. The performance features live visuals by filmmaker Markus Wambsganss (known for his work as Kaliber16).
