An invented mythology to revive the two dead volcanoes discovered in the Waddenzee. Instead of analysing these discoveries for their extractive potential, the filmmakers conjure a false oral tradition, a kind of faux-folklore striving to rekindle us to this land and to honour these geological giants. Can we develop a relationship with this earth that isn't only extractive? Can we express love for land without exploiting it?
