A downtown square in a Brazilian city is the central stage for a series of close observations of one of the prostitutes working the streets. Apart from their mutual understanding, these women’s lives seem doomed to pass by unnoticed. Filmed with cool reserve, Raw leaves the viewer with a sense of poignancy.
