Iseeyou takes the slogan of the first multiracial trade union in South Africa and looks at the public representation of labour in Johannesburg. In strong black-and-white images, Gush explores the city’s public monuments dedicated to work and workers and observes how they were celebrated in apartheid and post-apartheid South Africa.
