Gibellina Vecchia
A film document for a monument. Raphael Zarka records the artwork Alberto Burri created in 1981 on the ruins of the Italian town of Gibellina, which was destroyed by an earthquake in 1968. The past is a motionless, almost threatening presence in every shot. Humans are accidental interlopers.
