El hombre muerto
A beautiful atmospheric black-and-white film version of a story by Horacio Quiroga (1878-1937, Uruguay) about a labourer who, as every day, works on his banana plantation but falls on his own machete. As he dies, he observes his surroundings with supernatural precision.
