Jani Ruscica’s father is of Sicilian origin. Swan Song is a personal journey in the form of a farewell medley to a time that no longer exists. The leading roles in the film are played by a traditional Sicilian marionette and people of a certain generation, to whom the seemingly ordinary ditty Ciuri, Ciuri performed in the film is an inseparable part of their youth, part of a heritage.
