Folk film for the new millennium. A hand-processed portrait of Jake Williams, who lives alone in the middle of the forest in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Jake always has lots of jobs on at any one time, rarely throws anything away and has compost heaps going back many years.
Ben RIVERS (1972, Somerset) has been a film maker since 1999 and was co-founder of the Brighton cinematheque .
