Bindweed Beach
8mm is a reproductive medium that fundamentally cannot be reproduced, and the film maker relates to the medium as though working in sculpture. This piece takes the search for the sculptural elements to its extremes. Edited from differing viewpoints, the film is patched together in sections of a few frames, from top to bottom and side to side; a bindweed and the seashore meet at that very moment light shines on it.
