Starting from Scratch IV: Light Light … and Action
Combined programme
|
IFFR 2006
Direct naar zijbalk
Ever since its foundation in 1982, the non-profit distributor Light Cone, based in Paris, has built up what is now an extensive collection of experimental films. A large number of these have been sidelined in recent years as a result of the changing approach of both artists and screeners: the collection of experimental Super-8 films. The films selected for these two programmes were primarily made in the 1980s and in most cases reveal a typically cinematographic approach, such as investigating the material of the film medium or looking for the most beautiful light.
