Made when Beavers was in his late teens and had moved to Switzerland from the US with his companion, the film maker Gregory Markopoulos, Early Monthly Segments is a self conscious, stylised, homo erotic film diary of precocious skill, celebrating the domestic life and surroundings of the two film makers.
