Ryuzaki, editor of the body-building mag Muscle, becomes involved with Kitami, an SM adept. In an attack of passion, he cuts off Kitami's right arm with a Japanese sword. After spending a few months in jail, he returns home and finds Kitami's arm there in formalin. He sets off desperately in search of Kitami and is tortured by the thought of him. Several days later, he receives an invitation to a costumed ball. On the way there he meets Kitami. Ryuzaki is tense but hopeful about their reconciliation. is inspired by the paranoia that possessed after Pier Paolo Pasolini was murdered by his gay lover in 1975 near Ostia, outside Rome.
