Christmas Wolves is about Clarissa, alongside Hermann one of the most important roles. She has ended her pregnancy with an illegal abortion and as a result nearly dies herself. Hermann has just completed an ambitious concert work, 'Spuren'. During the performance, the cello part, which he wrote especially for Clarissa has to be left out.Helga, the radical poet, starts a difficult and almost violent relationship with the film-maker Stefan. Christmas is approaching and Hermann increasingly falls back on Schnüschen. Clarissa flees the hospital and avoids for the umpteenth time the 'right moment' with Hermann. It is 1963; in Frankfurt the Auschwitz trials are held.
