Pitch Out! 2026

IFFR Pro gives filmmakers the unique opportunity to pitch to decision makers and professionals from the film industry and to receive constructive feedback on the style of the pitch and the viability of the project. In preparation, there will be two training sessions with two top coaches, who will guide you in sharpening your presentation skills. Please book your spot via the form.

Prep Your Pitch workshops

In the Prep Your Pitch you will gain proficiency, learn how to confidently present an idea, how to develop your pitch in a supportive and constructive environment. 

Join us on Sunday 1 February, or Monday 2 February, for an intimate group session with our two coaches, Marjorie Bendeck and Anna Ciennik. You’ll receive personalised guidance to elevate the presentation of your project.

Pitch Out! – Pitch Your Project to Producers, Funds and Markets, Sales and Festivals

During Pitch Out!, you will be able to present your completed film or project in development and to receive direct feedback from specially invited international professionals. You may also strike useful connections with future collaborators.

Receive advice on how to promote your completed film in an effective and simple way, in a supportive and constructive environment.

Moderated by Marjorie Bendeck and Anna Cienik, with a panel of industry experts still to be confirmed.

Pitching coaches

  • Marjorie Bendeck

    Originally from Honduras, Marjorie holds a BA in communications and marketing, and an MA in organisational psychology, besides film production studies in Mexico and the EICTV in Cuba. Based in Germany since 2003, where she headed the selection committee of Berlinale Talents until 2012, while also working for funds and training initiatives in Europe and Latin America. Her areas of expertise include evaluation of feature film projects as well as workshops for pitch, script and project development. She is project manager for the Locarno Open Doors Projects Hub, and head of Connecting Cottbus, an East-West co-production market.

  • Anna Ciennik

    Both French and Polish, Anna is a multilingual screenplay consultant and scriptwriter.

    She works for co production markets, production and sales companies and film commissions as a reader or coach. She recently co-wrote Erige Sehiri’s sophomore film produced by Maneki films, and is writing Déni Pitsaev’s debut, produced by Dublin films and Nabis filmgroup. As a script consultant, her credits include Clara Sola by Nathalie Álvarez Mesén (Directors’ Fortnight 2021), Amparo by Simón Mesa Soto (Cannes Critics’ Week 2021) or Julie Keeps Quiet by Leonardo Van Dijl (Cannes Critics’ Week 2024).

    She works for labs such as Locarno Residency, Cannes Residency, Open Doors, ESP, TFL ScriptLab, among others
