Pro Hub

The Pro Hub welcomes industry guests and filmmakers to join panels, workshops and mentor meetings – providing a meeting place and networking environment for the whole filmmaking and professional community at the festival.

Presenting a range of Pro Dialogue panels, Pro Encounters networking sessions, tailor-made one-to-one meetings with the team of mentors, as well as other expert training sessions, the Pro Hub connects filmmakers in the festival selection with other attending professionals.

The Pro Hub also provides the First Rights List, with the titles from the programme that are without a sales agent.

“A lot of the time people come to me and say, ‘I’ve made one film, what do I do now?’”, says Samm Haillay, award-winning English producer and expert IFFR Pro Hub mentor at IFFR 2025. “It’s a very hard question to answer because we’re all wondering what we should do next. I’ve made 11 films and I’m still designing what I’m doing next.”
